American swimmer Tate Jackson was given a one-month doping suspension for testing positive for a THC metabolite. The United States Anti-Doping Association announced the suspension Thursday. It levied the minimum suspension allowable, which is retroactive to March 25, meaning it has already expired as of the announcement. Thus, Jackson can participate at U.S. Olympic Trials. Jackson tested above the allowable limit for 11-nor-9-carboxy-tetrahydrocannabinol (Carboxy-THC) in a urine test at the TYR Pro Swim Series on March 4.
